16th November 2009The Irish GDP is due to decline by 1.5% next year instead of 2.9% previously forecast said the Irish government on 12th November. The government does however mention a decline of 7.5% in the GDP in 2009. The labour market should also stabilise with an unemployment rate reaching a ceiling of 13.5% instead of the 15.5% forecast in April. Unemployment is at 12.5% at present.
