France is still Germany's most important trading partner
5th March 2012According to the most recent figures published by the German statistics institute Destatis, Franco-German trade totalled 168 billion euros in 2011 (imports and exports). France is still Germany's main trading partner with an increase of 10.2% of the bilateral trade volume in comparison with 2010. In 2011 France was again the leading importer of German goods as it has been the case since 1961.
