Meeting with social partners

On March 1st 2012 the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, the President of the European Council, Herman van Rompuy, and the Prime Minister of Denmark, Helle Thorning-Schmidt met the representatives of European workers and employers. They admitted that access by young people to the labour market, social dialogue and the inclusion of social partners in the Union's governance, and even major investments were the necessary tools to revive growth and employment.
