The world crisis: have we learned the right lessons?
2nd April 2012Hungarian think-tank CASE (Centre for Social and Economic Research) has published a study entitled "The Global Crisis: Have we learned the right lessons?" Author György Suranyi reviews the causes of the crisis. He highlights the shortfalls in the regulation of the financial markets but also other factors such as excess liquidities, fiscal laxism, inadapted monetary policies and world imbalances. He particularly focuses on the role played by the ECB in the euro zone during and after the crisis.
