The new regulation governing roaming enters into force

2nd July 2012

Since the entry into force of a new regulation governing roaming on July 1st 2012 the cost of using mobile phones in another country in the EU has dropped. Whether this implies direct calls, texts or internet access, these measures are just the first in a series that aim to limit consumer costs. Just in 2012 these should bring about savings of 15 billion euros in comparison with 2007.
