The Robert Schuman Foundation and the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Committee at the Senate are organising a seminar on Thursday 28th January and Friday 29th January 2010 at the Senate on the theme of “Going Nuclear in the Middle East – In search of a European Middle East Policy?”.

M. Gérard Larcher, President of the Senate will inaugurate this seminar together with M. Josselin de Rohan, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Committee at the Senate, and M. Jean François-Poncet, Senator, member of the administrative board of the Foundation and author, with Mme Monique Cerisier-ben Guiga, Senator and Secretary of the Senate’s Bureau of the report on the assessment of the situation in the Middle East.
