On 14th April the Robert Schuman Foundation organised, under the patronage and in the presence of Eduard Kukan, Mep’s European People’s party, a conference with Sali Berisha, Prime Minister of Albania, on the theme "Albania, towards the European Union, a merit-based approach", at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Presentation of the Schuman Report 2010 to the European Parliament - 24th March 2010 - 24th March 2010
The Robert Schuman Foundation has published the fourth edition of the "State of the Union 2010, the Schuman Report on Europe" with Lignes de Repères. This fourth edition offers original analyses, unique maps and vital data to know everything you need to know about Europe. This work was presented in Brussels on 24th March together with H-G Pöttering, former President of the European Parliament and MEP (EPP), Alain Lamassoure, MEP (EPP), Joseph Daül, President of the EPP Group in the Parliament and Roland Freudstein research director at the CES (Centre d'études européennes). Many of the work's authors were also present.

Security/Justice - 12th November 2009
The Robert Schuman Foundation organises on Thursday 12 November in Brussels a seminar on the theme, “The Stockholm Programme: An improved management strategy for information in the area of Justice, Liberty, and Security.” This event will be an opportunity for debate, with representatives from European institutions, member states and the economic sector, on issues such as border management, interstate cooperation, the collection and distribution of data and the difficult balance between security and liberty.

The Robert Schuman Foundation and the Centre d'Etudes Européennes organised a presentation of its work at the European Parliament in Brussels on 27th April "The State of the Union, Schuman Report 2009 on Europe" together with Mr Joseph Daul, Chairman of the EPP-ED group at the European Parliament. This work contains 19 articles by the best European experts, 31 unique colour maps, 68 detailed tables and graphs as well as an exclusive interview with Mr Schäuble, Home Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is published by Lignes de Repères.
