Robert Schuman Foundation President Jean-Dominique Giuliani will close the seminar on growing cooperation in the area of security and defence.
European Political Union and Democratic Control

On 14th January 2014 the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee organised a round-table on European political union and democratic control with Jean-Dominique Giuliani, Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation, Arnaud Chneiweiss, member of the European Observatory of the Jean-Jaurès Foundation and Jean-Paul Tran Thiet, member of the managing committee of the Montaigne Institute. The Robert Schuman Foundation is organising a meeting on 3rd December with Philippe Maystadt, former President of the European Investment Bank and Special Advisor to the European Commissioner responsible for making proposals in view of increasing the EU's influence in setting down and adopting accounting standards. Seminar on the euro zone crisis for students at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad

The Robert Schuman Foundation hosted a delegation of American students in its offices on 22nd October 2013 as part of the DIS exchange programme (Danish Institute for Study Abroad). The debates, with Thierry Chopin, Studies Director at the Foundation and Jean-Paul Betbèze, General Manager of Betbèze Consulting SAS and member of the Foundation's Scientific Council, focused on the euro zone crisis and its effects on the EU.
Europe's Values

Europe is proud of its founding values and promotes them across the world. With the Council of Europe, the vital institution for their defence, the Robert Schuman Foundation is organising a conference under the patronage of Jean-Claude Mignon, leader of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, on "Europe and its Values" on 23rd October 2013 from 2pm to 6pm at the HQ of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. On-line enrolment is obligatory.
