The European Parliament, at the heart of European Democracy
12/06/2018
As part of the series of conferences dedicated to the European Parliament, the heart of European democracy and one year before the European elections, the Robert Schuman Foundation is organising a citizens' consultation in Strasbourg on 12 June. MEPs debate with you about their actions in Parliament. What role does it play in institutions that are said to be distant? What is its commitment to citizens' freedoms and rights? What is the impact of his votes on our daily lives? The only institution of the Union elected by direct universal suffrage is the heart of European democracy. Register for free.
