At the occasion of the publication of the special issue of the French review of Geoconomics on Russia, the Robert Schuman Foundation, which had participated in this review, received on March 23 a delegation from the Higher College of Economics of Moscow, led by M Jaroslav KOUZMINOV.
European Award of Culture

For the award ceremony held each year in a European capital, the Pro Europa Foundation organised with the Robert Schuman Foundation a reception in Paris during which 10 awards were handed out to deserving European artists.
1st Franco-German Conference at the Senate in Paris

On October 22nd and 23rd, the Robert Schuman Foundation, in partnership with the Jean Jaurès and Friedrich Ebert Foundations, accepted to organise the first Franco-German Forum that took place at the French Senate. The subject was "the European society of information".
Moldova
Europe/Others - 29/08/1999
The Vice-Chairman and the Director of the Robert Schuman Foundation went to Moldova on August 29-31, 1999, in order to attend the opening ceremony of the Free University of Moldova. The President of the Republic of Moldova, the dean of the Free University, the cultural advisor of the French Embassy as well as a large number of professors and students of the University attended this ceremony.
Lithuania-France
European Union - 07/07/1999
JD Giuliani and P Joannin, who head the Robert Schuman Foundation, went to Lithuania from July 7 to July 9, 1999. This visit aimed mainly to renew the agreement protocol between the Foundation and the Association Lithuania-France of Kaunas. This association, directed by Mrs Biruté Straksiene, manages the Robert Schuman Centre that the Foundation opened in 1992.
