Ukraine: Europe is key

5 May 2025

2025-05-05-10-51-53.5528.jpg
'Europe is more than ever central to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, and nothing will happen without it,' Jean-Dominique Giuliani reminds us. Many Western countries, such as Canada, Japan and South Korea, support the Europeans, aware that this is a matter of rejecting imperialism and revisionism.

Other obstacles, such as energy costs and dependence on raw materials, are also hampering the sector's progress.

The rigorous enforcement of competition law remains at the heart of the EU's economic and environmental ambitions.
